Hi – the shopping cart calculates the correct amount and Paypal charges the correct amount but the confirmation email, payment overview and pdf all display the incorrect amount. In the test we did for 1 adult ticket (£17) and 2 child tickets (£11 each) the amount was charged correctly at £39 but was reported at £50. The system incorrectly had the primary registrant down as an adult and a child (hence extra £11). We are using WP 3.5.1 and EE 3.1.21.P. Do you have any suggestions of what might be causing this? Thanks!

Hi there, It may be something in Event Espresso 3.1.21.P (which was released over one year ago) that’s not compatible with the latest version of WordPress. It might also be a customization, I don’t remember there being an issue like this one back then. I double checked just to make sure and the current version of Event Espresso doesn’t have this issue, so updating to the latest version of Event Espresso would fix this for you. |

Thanks for your response. This is becoming an urgent issue and I’m waiting for sales to get back with details of how we can renew and for how much (we purchased as a charity) so that we can update to the latest version. The only templates we have updated are: event_list_display.php registration_page.php registration_page_display.php widget.php Would any of these effect the creation of pdf invoices, confirmation email or the payment overview page? Would deactivating/reactivating the EE plugin cause any data loss? I was considering doing this to see if it might fix anything? Would it cause any of the other EE plugins (like multi-registration) to become inactivated or lose data? Thanks, Steve

Hi there, I checked with sales and they sent you a reply with options on updating the support license. I’ll follow up with your other questions:
The registration page templates can affect the registration process, but only if they’re single registrations (non Multi Event Registration cart registrations use a different template) It sounds like the issue you are having happens when the registration process goes through the cart.
No.
It probably will not fix anything.
If you deactivate Event Espresso core, all add-ons will not automatically become deactivated or lose data, but they will no longer work since they all depend on Event Espresso core to function. |
