Payments only being processed for first event in cart.

Having an issue when a user adds multiple events to their cart and then proceeds to purchase them, they are only being charged and registered for the first event. The transaction shows that they have two items, but the amount paid is only the amount of the first event.

Hi there,

May I ask is this happening with the current version of Event Espresso 4 (as of today that’s 4.9.58p) and which payment method?

It’s the latest version I believe and using mijireh.

Does the site actually have the Multi Event Registration plugin installed? Maybe you can post a link to the website. The website that has your account’s support license does not have the Multi Event Registration add-on activated, so I’m probably looking at the wrong site right now.

Sorry, different account. The site is wecm.ca which I believe has the same type of license.

Both events from the cart were sent to Mijireh when I tested it:

Is there something I need to do differently to make it send only one event to Mijireh?

I’m not sure. We have a few transactions where a customer added two events and you can see the amount they paid but to doesn’t equal the amount for both events. Just the amount of the first event.

May I ask which events were they? One possible reason for one of the events in the cart not getting passed to the gateway would be if the event became sold out. Event Espresso does a sold out status check before taking payment in order to prevent overselling a specific event.

Some shots of that transaction. It also says just registered for 1 event.

It probably was the sold out status check that didn’t allow payment for the 2 tickets for “Welcome to Business 2018”. If you go to that event’s page:
http://wecm.ca/events/welcome-business-april-2018/
and check how many tickets are left, you’ll note there is only one. So if it had allowed for the 2 tickets to be paid for that would have made for an sell over capacity situation. If they’re OK with getting just one ticket they could pay for just that one ticket if the second ticket gets cancelled.
