With PayPal Standard your users are just directed to PayPal with the email address you have set within the gateway. (Little more than that, but that’s the basic idea)
So can you go to Event Espresso -> Payment Methods.
Look within the PayPal Standard.
Check ‘Use Paypal Sandbox’ is set to No.
Check the email address is correct within ‘PayPal Email’
If you log into your PayPal account can you not see the payments?
According to the client they are saying they are receiving registrations being marked as paid but yet no payment within PayPal. I tried upgrading to the most recent version of EE4 to see if that will resolve their problems.
Can you go to Event Espresso -> Payment Methods, then look at the PayPal settings? Then please check these two settings:
1) Does the PayPal Email address entered there match the address you use to log in to PayPal.com?
2) Is Use PayPal Sandbox set to Yes or No?
