Payment won't work

I was using EE Lite and all was fine. One of my associates accidentally deleted the entire event. Upon recreating the event, nothing worked; kept saying event expired or not available. I bought the complete version (Business License), upon instal the event shows up on the registration page, goes to conformation page, but on going to PayPal I get a 404 code. All the settings are right for the Paypal solution. My only conclusion is something has remained in the database that is trying to double up from the orignal event. I can find no database field for the payment solutions. Can anyone help? I am new to Event Espresso.
