I set up a site for a client using event espresso. A customer of his attempted to make a purchase via event espresso using PayPal Express. Below was the result. Trying to make sense of what happened. Can someone help me out?
The gateway response field is the error taken directly from the payment provider, in this case, PayPal and that error usually means one of these:
The billing address associated with the financial instrument could not be confirmed.
The transaction exceeds the card limit.
The transaction was denied by the card issuer.
Take a look here for some details on that specific error:
A payment has been added via the admin but did the admin confirm the payment went through on PayPals end (I doubt it) or did they receive funding through another method?
