I just upgraded from EE3 to EE4 and am having some issues with the payment transaction page. Users can register for an event, but the payment options page is not displaying. If the user is logged in to the site (i.e. those on the web team) then the payment options display correctly and everything works fine.
The Event Payment Transaction page with the [ESPRESSO_TXN_PAGE] shortcode is public, so I’m not sure why the public is unable to see the page. We are not using the WP User Integration plugin so logging in shouldn’t be required.

Hi there,
The event linked to no longer exists (or is private) so I check on your other but it has a price set of $0.00 so I can’t view any payments options (as theres nothing to pay).
If the event is private can you create a new temporary event that we can use with a ticket that has a price, you can set that post to password protected to prevent others registering, just remember to post the password here so we can 🙂

Hi there,
So one important to know is the payments options are not displayed on the page with the [ESPRESSO_TXN_PAGE] short code on it. The payment options are actually displayed on the same page that handles the registration forms. What’s supposed to happen is after you fill out the registration form, some AJAX will load the next step.
Since it’s working for anyone logged in as admin, I’d suspect the problem is there’s either a security plugin, a script, or some .htaccess code on your site that’s blocking admin AJAX requests to logged out users.
Is that something you can look into?
