After a customer completes an event registration, the notification that “loading transaction and payment information…” never goes away. I’ve left this page open for days to see how long it would take to go away. Current wait time says 0 minutes, and the transaction is successful, and shows as “approved”. Do you know why this is happening? How can this get fixed?
This can be fixed by contacting WPEngine support and ask them to reinstate the WordPress Heartbeat API for the Thank You page on your website. There’s more information in the documentation:
