Hi there,
I already use the payment pro option in EE4 as some of my events are paid for using Stripe and some using Paypal but i have an event where they want to collect a deposit using Stripe and then a set of Direct Debit payments to collect the balance. Is this possible?

Hi there,
Currently, Event Espresso does not support partial payments in that users can not select a value they want to pay from the total amount owed, you can apply partial payments to a transaction within the admin, but users can select to pay a specific amount themselves.
So, whilst a ‘partial payment’ is possible, it requires the user selects a ‘deposit ticket’ (a ticket with the price set to a lower value that the total amount) which they pay in full and then you (the admin) move them onto the ‘full price ticket’ to pay the rest.
That can be done multiple times to allow a sort of partial payment feature in stages but it requires admin work to do it.
The Direct Debit request above is not something we have available within any of the EE payment methods at this time.
