Do you have another payment method activated on the site or will all users use Invoice?
Registrations must be finalized using a payment method, so if you are allowing users to use Invoice as a payment method you’ll need the payment method activate for them to be able to finalize within paying directly.
So do you just want to disable the Invoice links but still allow users to use the Invoice payment method to finalize?
thanks for your answer. Yes, I want to activate the method “Invoice”.
The user should not get an invoice displayed. The link to the invoice on the THANK YOU page and the note “No payments received” should not be displayed.
Unfortunately I don’t know how to change php-files. 🙁
No need to change PHP files. Instead, you go to Event Espresso > Payment Methods and activate the Check payment method. There you change the Description, Title, Instructions, Button URL, and so on. Please be sure to set “Open by Default” to Yes.
After those items are set you’ll Update.
Then you’ll click on the Invoice item, and click “Deactivate Invoice Payemnts”.
Finally, you’ll go to Event Espresso > Messages > Settings > Html and you’ll drag and drop the Invoice message type to the “Inactive Message Types” box. This will completely deactivate the Invoice payment method.
