Hello, I spoke with the customer service of our payment processor, which is integrated through Event Espresso. They told me to contact you. I processed a $3.00 test payment and it went into a random batch on their end that we had labeled for donations only. (So we have different batches with titles, exp. concert, workshop etc). For example, say I am selling tickets for an event called, Seminary for a Day. They explained that I need to actually name each ticket (Seminary for a Day) within Event Espresso for the payments to go into the correct batch vs. default: 1) Create a New Ticket This is a problem because I need to create a registration page for a large conference with breakout workshops. This means that I need to label each ticket accordingly with the names of each workshop. 1) Does the information they gave me sound accurate? Thanks! |

May I ask what’s the payment processor? What they said sounds accurate, but I’d need to look at the code within the gateway to confirm. One possible way to work around the way their batching system requires ticket names a certain way that you could use is instead of using ticket names for workshops, you could set up separate events for each workshop. If you install the Multi Event Registration plugin the registrant will be able to select and add workshops to their cart. Then, your ticket names can still be used for syncing things to the payment batches. |

Hi Josh, It is Vanco. Thanks. I already have the Multi-Event Registration Plug-in. The only problem with that is that we have classes going at the same time as the conference. It would confuse a lot of folks. Do you know if we create a new batch with Vanco and say title is SFA, but then name tickets as follows: SFA FULL DAY 65.00 Would adding the additional wording “FULL DAY” and “Keynote only” still send it to the wrong batch? Thanks!! |

That sounds like it could work, and you could need to check with Vanco to see if they can confirm. |

Unfortunately, I took all of the steps above and payments are still going into the wrong batch. This is a big problem and when I call Vanco they say it is an Event Espresso issue. ideas? Thanks. |

May I ask do they explain how and why this is an Event Espresso issue? It sounds like you’ll need to follow their instructions for naming the tickets to get them into the correct batch. It sounds like the batch name must match the ticket name and if there is any deviation then the payment won’t go to the correct batch. If someone from Vanco can clarify this we can investigate further. |
