Howdy,

i’m speaking to couple of different payment gateway services in the UK for my client. Is there someone at EE I can put them directly in touch with to discuss how they might integrate their payment gateway to EE?

Thanks, M

Hello,

Payment Gateway integration goes both ways, and we need to (and are happy to) work alongside gateway producers to implement them into Event Espresso.

This does come at a cost, and if yourself or others are willing to subsidise the cost, we can certainly look into integrating a specific gateway for you.

You can contact us regarding this via this form and we can discuss it in more detail.

Oh. I was under the impression we could add one ourselves. What are the costs involved? That could slow us right down.

I want to put the developers directly in touch with you – can they access that form without being signed in?

Thanks!

Hi,

The costs are $650, plus $65 per hour if the development goes over the 10 hour mark (which is unusual).

If you can fill the form out, it will put you in touch with the sales/dev team who will get back to you for further information on this.

We can liaise with the gateway developers, but you will need to speak to the sales/dev team first.

Hi Dean,

I completed the contact form and am waiting to hear from you guys. Typically, how long would it take to set up a new gateway? We are keen to move forward quickly.

Thanks, M

Hello,

It’s a difficult question for me to answer, and I think even the devs would not be able to answer it as it depends on many factors. Generally we say 10 hours work, but depending on the payment gateway it could take longer. Also with some gateways it depends on how quickly they answer our questions etc.

Thanks Dean. I kinda meant how quick could they start actually? But I can be patient and wait for them to get in touch with me. 🙂

Ahhh sorry, misunderstood.

It’s still night time in the US where most of the developers are (just little old me EU side) so they will begin to pick up the mails are work requests in a few hours, but I can’t say for sure when you will be contacted.
