Payment Gateway Options Won't Open

No payment options are showing on our checkout page.

We can’t open the payment gateway options for some reason.

I’ve tried to disable all plugins, reinstall event espresso, and change themes, but none of that seemed to work.

This client has a concert tomorrow, so it’s critical we get this first data E4 payment gateway working again as soon as possible.e

Hi Jay,

As you are using E4 I’m assuming this is using EE3, is that correct?

Can you link us to one of your events so we can investigate please.

If you go to Event Espresso -> Payment Settings. Are the payment options not displayed there either?

We’re using EE3.

If we go to Event Espresso -> Payment Settings it shows all of the gateways but when you try to click on the row it doesn’t seem to open. Possibly a JS conflict of some kind but I tried disabling all plugins and themes and that still didn’t fix it.

You should receive the reply to the email account registered to your account.

This was caused by something WPEngine changed within the Admin that we have yet to identify, the plugin Payment Settings Fixer provides a workaround to allow Event Espresso -> Payment Settings, to work once again.

I have also activated the FirstData E4 Payment gateway, if you input your gateway details and update the settings you will then be able to select that payment gateway as a payment option when registering.

When I try to install it as a plugin, I get the error: “Fatal error: Cannot redeclare ee_display_gateway_settings_on_wpengine() (previously declared in /nas/wp/www/cluster-10367/sao/wp-content/plugins/ee-payment-settings-fixer/payment-settings-fixer.php:25) in /nas/wp/www/cluster-10367/sao/wp-content/plugins/gist1afd180884f9c603d4f5-8f0f767726b727d4838b22a7421e458c76f8b347/payment-settings-fixer.php on line 25”

Great. Be sure to also ask WP Engine to setup no-cache rules for your Event Espresso pages:
