Payment Details strange due to PayPal IPN

Hi,

I have encountered something really strange.
A customer contacted me and said she had successfully paid for a ticket via PayPal. She had received a receipt from PayPal stating the amount etc.
But when she got transfered back to our website, it stated that the payment was incomplete.

I checked my PayPal Business account and could confirm that she had paid.
The strange part is that in Event Espresso menu looking at the attendees and selecting this customer, it states that the payment status is incomplete, but in the box for how much she owes, it says 0. And in the box below “Total amount paid up till today” it says the amount of the ticket price?!

But further down on the same page, Transactionstype and Transactions-ID are empty fields, which for other customers states “PayPal” and a combination of characters and numbers.

I logged in to my PayPal account and managed to find the IPN re-send functionality, but then got a question asking if I really want to send this again, as it might create duplicates in the system. I guess they mean in my Event Espresso system.

What shall I do?

Hi Andreas,

You can go ahead and resend the IPN, it should not create any duplicates.
