We have setup an online registration portal (https://recreation.phenixcityal.us) for our Parks and Recreation Department due to the main office being closed to the public during the COVID-19 Pandemic. An error message that states “Payment declined. Invalid transaction (12)” appears after entering credit card information and trying to checkout. We are using TransFirst Transaction Express for our payment gateway. I contacted TSYS support and they can see where the transactions were attempted but declined due to an invalid card type being sent over. They stated the supported card types are Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc. I used two different Visa credit cards for testing. However, they maintain that the Card Type is a required value that should be sent over by Event Espresso.

If that’s correct then it sounds like the required fields may have changed since we created the Transfirst payment method as that wasn’t required.
I replied directly via email to your support token request, if you can update the account provided I’ll take a look at your set up and see if I can reproduce.
