Payment Confirmation Emails to Administrator in EE3

Hello!

We are using Event Espresso 3. Currently, the student receives a payment confirmation email once their payment is processed, but as the Administrator, we need to receive a notification as well.

We currently receive a Registration Confirmation email when a student registers, so it would essentially be the same functionality to alert us.

Do you know how this is possible?

Hi,

This is possible by adding some custom code to your site’s custom_functions.php file located in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/

Hello,

Thank you for your post.

Is there a way we can include a separate admin message, specifically the answers to our event registration form questions?

What we are looking for is a separate email to the student and to the admin.

Please let me know if this is possible!

You should already be getting a separate admin email that includes the answers from the registration form. In EE3 that email is sent to the email address set in Event Espresso > General Settings. For additional admin email features you can upgrade to Event Espresso 4 which allows for customizable email template editing.

Hello,

Thanks for your post.

We do receive the registration confirmation email with that information.

However, I meant that I need the payment confirmation email to be sent to the admin with the registration form answers. This way, we can tie the registration information to the payment for our accounting purposes. Many times when a student registers in EE, they don’t pay at the exact same time, therefore we need to be able to reference who the student is associated with the payment in that payment receipt.

Please let me know if you need further clarification.

This is something that’s really only available with Event Espresso 4.

Is there any way to be copied on the payment confirmation emails that the client gets?

That’s available with EE4, but I think the code snippet I shared earlier essentially does just that, sends a copy of the same payment confirmation email they client gets.
