I received some messages from a client that said the payment confirmation emails weren’t being received by their customers. I first set the PayPal account to Sandbox mode and then created a new test event. I received the confirmation email for both registration and payment, yea!
Next I tested the event (Girls District Championship) that the latest customer complaint came from. I registered and made a sandbox payment and received only the registration confirmation email (not the payment confirmation email).
I checked the settings and there is nothing different for the test event or the event in question. Is there any reason why I didn’t receive the confirmation email for the second event?

So it sounds like this is working but the clients email server is slow.
