Payment collected by PayPal, but EE showing payment pending?

We have an issue where Payment was collected by PayPal, but EE showing payment pending. What could be the cause of that?

Hi there,

Are you using PayPal Express or the PayPal Standard payment method? If the latter we recommend switching the site to use PayPal Express. You can use your same PayPal account with PayPal Express. There is some information about how to get your PayPal Express API credentials here:
