Hello! I am considering using Event Espresso for my registration/payment section of a workshop that I am setting up on my wordpress website. I am a little confused about how to set it up so that people will be required to submit a payment before registering for the event. It appears that I may run into the issue of people filling out the registration form but not being required to pay and that will create a lot of work in following up to make sure everyone has paid in full before the event. Can someone help explain if there is a way to set this up so I avoid that problem?
When someone enters their information in the registration form, their registration is not complete until payment is made. They will be marked as incomplete until payment is made.
Is there a way to create a link to the Paypal button imbedded in the “submit” button on the registration form? That way it takes them directly to the IPN page from the registration form?
This will not work as expected because the registrant needs to complete registration checkout for the payment to be completed and updated in Event Espresso.
