I uploaded the EE plugin to my wordpress account and now my entire WP website is broken. All that appears when I try to open my website is

Hi there,
Event Espresso requires a server that runs at least PHP 5.3. The error you’re seeing is the result of running PHP 5.2 or lower. Can you contact your host to see if they’ll upgrade the server to use a newer version of PHP?
If they cannot, you can delete the Event Espresso plugin and use this older version that works on PHP 5.2 servers, but please note that the older version is no longer supported.
You’ll need to go into cpanel or FTP to remove Event Espresso from your site. Or you can follow this guide:
