I am customizing a page for a home study organization. With this, the parents would apply for the children and have an account. We need the ability for the parent to register multiple children for different classes and track and report on the classes that they’ve registered their children for. Do you know of a way that this can be accomplished using Event Espresso? Sandbox site is: http://www.3GeeksMedia.com/COGSOCO
Thank you.
At this time there isn’t a way for users to keep track of people in a “group”. This may be something that is coming in the future, but I don’t have an ETA for it.
Hi Jonathan. I appreciate your response. So, here’s my question: If I wanted someone to make the following modifications, would there be anyone there that I could discuss this with?
Add fields to the member profile page so that parents can have their children listed under their account.
Add fields (probably in the form of a drop-down menu) to registration page so that parents can designate which child they are registering for the class.
Add that field to reports so that instructors can generate reports stating which child is registered for the class and parents can generate reports showing the classes that they’ve registered their children for.
If no one there is interested, can you tell me what to look for in a contractor to program this? I’d appreciate it! Thanx!
P.S. – Just an idea – there are many, many small homeschool/private schools out there and more popping up each day. Developing this as an addon and marketing it directly at that audience could prove quite fruitful for you. 😉
