The website where I have installed event espresso is for a charity. We offer Stripe payments but most people choose to pay by invoice. As a consequence, the default registration status is approved.
It would be helpful to mention if people have paid by stripe on the “registration approval template”, so they can forward the details onto the finance department.
I have tried adding [AMOUNT_PAID] has been paid out of a total of [TOTAL_OWING] but this comes back as zero even if people pay by stripe.
[AMOUNT_PAID] relates to a specific payment, which won’t be set on a registration based email and would likely cause some confusion if we changed that now but I’ll dig into that a little more.
If you want to show the total amount paid on a transaction, use [TOTAL_AMOUNT_PAID] which pulls the paid value from the transaction itself (meaning multiple payments would show the sum of all of those payments).
