I’m having a strange issue. For some users, when they log onto the WordPress dashboard and then navigate to the Event Espresso plugin, they get a page not found error. But if they hover over Event Espresso and click directly to the Registrations tab, they are able to see the plugin page. Any thoughts?
This could mean those users do not have all the required capabilities attached to their user account. Are they logged in with a full administrator account is it user account role with limited admin access?
I tried logging in with their credentials and I am able to see it. This user has tried clearing their cache and has tried on multiple browsers and is still having the same issue.
The first thing to check would be if there’s a security plugin (with a firewall, for example) installed on the site it may be causing the 404 errors for some users.
Beyond that, you could check with your host and they can check the mod security logs because there may be a ruleset triggered, and maybe they can add some exceptions for the user’s IP address.
