page-event_list.php not showing all events

The template file that is commented as the following, doesn’t show all of the events:

/*
Template Name: Espresso Events
Template for displaying a list of event posts.
Modified by Chris Reynolds for 3.1.20.P
*/

I couldn’t find any limiter variable in the code, so I don’t understand why I can’t force it to show all of the events. Also, I seem to be having problems with the [EVENT_LIST] shortcode. It is not displaying any events without including attributes. For example: I can set the category or show_expired=true attributes, and it will spit out a couple of events. But to get all of the events, I can’t figure out how to do that.

Hi Noah,

In the case of the page-event_list.php, only events that have been set to auto-post the Event Post Type will display.

In the case of the [EVENT_LIST] shortcode, are there copies of event_list_display.php and event_list.php in the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates directory? If so, you could try removing them, and possibly upload a fresh copy of Event Espresso to the /plugins directory.
