Our customers don’t receive their tickets.

I havr the following error
—————-
An error has occurred:
No message was sent because of problems with sending. Either all the messages you selected were not a sendable message, they were ALREADY sent on a different scheduled task, or there was an error. If there was an error, you can look at the messages in the message activity list table for any error messages.

Hi there,

If you look in Event Espresso -> Messages -> Message activity do you see the ‘Ticket notice’ message for the user there?

When do you get the above error?

Failed sending – can be retired
We have the customer registration info but they dint receive the e-ticket.

Message was not executed successfully.
Messenger and Message Type were valid and active, but the messenger send method failed.
The email did not send successfully.
The WordPress wp_mail function is used for sending mails but does not give any useful information when an email fails to send.
It is possible the “to” address (shadi.baker@gmail.com) or “from” address (info.eventati@gmail.com) is invalid.

EE_Email_messenger – _send_message – 454

Ok, but if you look in Event Espresso -> Messages -> Message activity do you see the ‘Ticket notice’ message for the user there?

What are you doing to trigger the error above?

I don’t need the error again, I need the steps you are taking to reproduce.

Do they receive ANY of the EE emails? The email containing the link for tickets is one of at least 2 emails they would receive.

Ok, so all of your messages are failing and they are failing once EE passes them over to wp_mail() which usually means this is a server issue.

EE is correctly triggering and generating the messages, but your server cant send them.

Can WordPress send other emails, such as password resets? Or if you install the Check Email plugin and use that to send an email, does that work?

Are you using any SMTP plugin on the site to send your emails?

With issues such as these, we usually recommend using a transactional email service to send your email. We have some documentation on setting one up here:

I contacted GoDaddy and they actually uploaded a test form mail to test the mail server of our hosting and since you receive it means no problem on the mail server and PHP function of the hosting. That just means that the problem is on the plugin you installed on your WordPress and not on the server side.

Does the From address they used match the from address used in the EE email message?

That just means that the problem is on the plugin you installed on your WordPress and not on the server side.

That is a stretch.
