Other triggers upon new event publishing

First off, I will refer to this entry:

I would like to trigger a normal page or post publish (with a print.css sort of layout) for every new event. It will only hold values from the event (not ee user data).

Hi there,

You want to publish a normal page/post based on publishing a custom post type (EE event)?

May I ask why you would do this rather than using the EE event post itself?

Wp has hooks fired when posts are published:

save_post runs on EVERY post update.

transition_post_status runs whenever a post status changes.
