I’ve added a question to the Personal Information Group (to be included on the Registration process); however, I cannot seem to find a way to specify the order for which I want the question added. I just wanted it to be added as the last question BUT it was added as the second question for some reason. How can I change this order?

It should just be drag and drop unless you have a plugin that is conflicting with the admin javascript being loaded on those pages.

I don’t have a drag and drop capability on that screen (Manage Question Groups). The only option is to select and a check mark goes in there.
Would it help if I sent you a screen shot of what I see?

Hi bblessings,
If you just click on the bar (for example Personal Information), hold the mouse button down and move the mouse it should show that it is draggable and move it for you.

Interesting . . . I still don’t see what you’re describing. I don’t see a “bar” to drag; however, somehow I was able to get the new field added where I wanted it to go.
Is there documentation (a video? a pdf-file?) that gives the steps on how to do this?

What browser are you using? When you hover over the questions you should get a cursor that has arrows in all directions. If you click the horizontal row/bar in between questions you should be able to move the questions up and down to reorder them.

You should also have Event Espresso version 3.0.19.39 or greater.

@garth, the 4 way arrow cursor doesnt show in Question Groups unless you click, though it works fine in Questions. (chrome, FF and safari)

I usually use Chrome although I have all three others that I use to check the way the site looks.

Yes, I need to upgrade to the newest version . . . I’ve put it off until after the September workshops are over since the whole registration process works so smoothly with this great plugin. I’m just concerned that there could be glitches — possibly due to code-tweaks you’ve helped me with in the past, for past versions, which would be over-ridden in the upgrade.

Have the fixes been made to core or to the templates? Do you have anything in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates?
