order of event attendee details

Hi,
Having difficulty getting the event attendee details in the correct viewing order. The registration form questions allow it to be entered in order eg name, surname, address etc, but when I open up the attendee information it is out of order (eg email, DOB, school). I can send you a screenshot if it helps?

Hi Jo,

Have you re-ordered the questions via the drag and drop system in the Questions menu page?

Are they ordering and saving correctly there and simply showing up out of order on the front end, or are they not saving in the correct order?

Are you running any cache plugin or server caching system?

A screenshot is always welcome, thanks.

Hi Dean,
Yes, I have ordered the q’s with the drag & drop.
They appear to be ordered correctly but displaying out of order on the front end.
Not sure about the cache plugin etc. Your welcome to have a look.
Can I email you the screenshot?

No, but I would like to upgrade but it is not listed on my WP as a plugin update….could you let me know how?

Hi Jo,

Could you apply the new support license key to the general settings page for Event Espresso in your WP dashboard?

That should prompt for a software update.

Hi, what version of Event Espresso are you running?

If its a very old version (e.g. 4.1.x), then you may need to manually update:

I followed the instruction provided and have tried to update to the latest version of EE4 but receive the following message when I try to upload the zip file to my WP -The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.
Can you please sort this out?

Hi, this is a restriction from your webhost. Who is your webhost?

Are you familiar with an SFTP or FTP client such as Cyberduck or FileZilla?

Hi, since my last message the server has increased my upload limits so I was able to update to EE4 and migrate everything over from EE3.
However, the original problem still pervades! Will I provide a screenshot or grant you access?

You must have missed my last message. The original issue has not been fixed by upgrading to EE4.

Hello Jo,

Sorry for the delay. I was viewing the source of your site and noticed you have Jetpack installed. I have heard of some conflicts with that plugin in the past. Can you please try deactivating that plugin, then trying to reorder the questions? Maybe try deactivating all other plugins as well, then see if it works.

Ok I have deactivated Jetpack. I have now been able to re-order the questions. Great! Thank you for that advice.
Also, since the update to EE4 the attendees names are not appearing on the Paypal confirmation emails in the description section? They just contain the buyer’s information, which, as you know, often differs from the actual person attending the event.

Thanks for the update! Glad it’s working now. Can you please create a new thread for the PayPal confirmation emails? That helps us track the individual support requests more efficiently.
