Can I allow a user to sign in and register someone or several people so they get the member price without changing the users info in the main database? |
Hi Brad, I’m not quite sure I understand your question. Are you wanting a non-member to sign into the site and get a member discount? Also, are you referring to EE3 or EE4? |

EE4 When a user is logged in and registers for an event in EventExpresso – if they register a second or third person it updates their WordPress user info to the name and email info for the last person they register. For example -If an office manager registers several students for a class her user record gets changed. |
Hi Brad, I think I understand what is happening. During registration checkout, are you collecting the personal question group for additional attendees/registrants? If not, then those records become part of the primary registrant and any changes to those records will change the primary registrant information. Could you clarify if you are collecting that information? — |

I am collecting personal info for the additional attendees. Also when the office manager registers other people she is putting a name other than hers as the primary registrant. |
Hi Brad, lets say you have this information for a registration: 3 registrants Attendee A – unique email for attendee A Attendee B – unique email for attendee B Attendee C – unique email for attendee C That should be three records that are being shown in the registration overview screen. If you edit attendee C while keeping a unique email, then only that record should change. With this example in mind, could you share how these changes are being made? — |

let say you have an office manager who logs in to register 3 students. None of the students are the office manager. She registers the first as the primary registrant and then registers the other 2 as additional attendees. The office managers information as a WordPress user is overwritten with the info for the first student. Is there any way to avoid this? |
Okay, I think I figured it out. If this is via the front-end (single event page), then the information for the primary attendee/registrant is synced and will be overwritten. I tested in the WP dashboard and did not see this occur. Could you try a manual registration via the WP dashboard? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/manually-add-registrant-wordpress-dashboard/ — |
