On my site (which runs EE and Wishlist member), only logged-in subscribers can book an event. When I (an admin) try to book an event I am redirected back to the homepage with a hastag #checkout behind the URL. If I switch to a subscriber, I have no issues. Please help. |

Hi there, A couple questions: – What are your default settings for the WP User Integration with respect to the login requirements? |

Garth: What are your default settings for the WP User Integration with respect to the login requirements? Non-logged in users can access the events by default. Some events are protected and some are not. – What are the event-specific settings for the WP User Integration with respect to login requirements? Users are required to be logged in and of a certain membership level in order to access the event. When a subscriber at that level registers – it works. When an admin at that level tries to register, I get kicked back to the homepage with #checkout at the end of the URL. – What capability are you requiring to register for an event (if any)? Not a capability, but rather access to a membership level (using Wishlist member. Also, I DO see that when I click register the network tab is trying to send a POST request to “https://m.stripe.com/6” then the connection gets cut. There’s no error like a 400 or 500 response. It’s strange. |

Hi there, This sounds like an issue caused by Wishlist rather than Event Espresso. Event Espresso does not ‘integrate’ with any membership plugins per se, what the WP user integration add-on does is check for specific capabilities you set on the ticket (that’s why Garth is asking about capabilities). It sounds like WishList is hooking into the page and looking for a specific membership level, then redirecting the request based on the level, but where I have no idea as I’ve not seen the code for Wishlist. Is the checkout page or Admin set to be admin? |

Tony – The checkout page was not protected at all. However, on your suggestion I looked deeper into Wishlist to see if there was something I was missing. There were some old settings still being applied for content protection. I believe it was a plugin upgrade that caused the error. It’s all fixed now! Thank you for the help. |

Ah, great. I’m glad you found the cause 🙂 |
