Only custom questions of first added event to cart are shown

I’ve installed the Multi Event Registration plugin and created 2 events with both different custom questions. All questions are required. Users must be able to register to both events in the same time. (So add 2 events in 1 cart with 1 payment)

Unfortunately only the custom questions of the FIRST event that the user adds to the cart are shown in the registration proces. The custom questions of the SECOND event that is added to the cart are not showing.

To clarify it a bit more…

Situation 1: (correct)
– Only add event 1 to cart
– All custom questions of event 1 are shown

Situation 2: (correct)
– Only add event 2 to cart
– All custom questions of event 2 are shown

Situation 3: (error)
– First add event 1 to cart then add event 2 to cart
– Only custom questions of event 1 are shown

Situation 4: (error)
– First add event 2 to cart then add event 1 to cart
– Only custom questions of event 2 are shown

Could you guys help me with solving this?

Hi,

The lead developer of the Multi Event Registration add-on actually reported this same issue. So at some point that will be fixed. For the time being though, the registration form will only display the registration question groups for the first event only when there is more than one event in the cart.

Hi Josh,

Too bad it’s actually an error and not something I configured in a wrong way… Is a backlog / planning available for this issue? Can I somehow get an update when it’s fixed?

I’ll be sure to update this topic when there’s a software update that includes a fix.
