Ongoing events

I need to create an event that has no date, its just an online class people can do anytime. Essentially the event is to allow them to pay and for me to keep track of the attendees. I saw in the documentation you cannot create events without dates but then I saw the topic below but when I tried that and updated the event without dates it vanished from the list. Can this be done and if so specifically how to do it? https://eventespresso.com/topic/events-without-dates/

Hi Colin,

Pretty much as Chris said in the thread you posted.

1) Create an Event and set it to Ongoing
2) Edit the event and remove the dates

The event will appear in the event list but will be blank after the Date label. It will also not appear on the calendar or any query that uses dates.
