Hi!,

I hope you can help me to this. I have an event that happens every monday in a month. What I want is them to register to my recurring event just one time only, if they are register one of the recurring event they do not need to register to the others, because right now when I set the event as a recurring each event would require to register. Please advice.

Thanks

You can set the alternate registration page url to the one event you want them to register for: enter image description here

Then they will only be registered for one event.

Does that help?

What if they want to register for all of the events – but just pay and click once?

Sorry – please let me explain myself. I am running a course for 7 weeks. It runs on every Tuesday. I want people to just register once (but their name is put down for the 7 classes) and pay up-front. How do I do this on an alternate registration page?

Hi Susan,

Are you charging a fee for each event? If so, you could use the Multi Event Registration add-on and set up an add to cart link on a page that will automatically place all the events into the cart.

Example:

[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id=”1-2-3-4-5-6-7″ anchor=”Register once for the entire course”]

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#add-to-cart

If you’re charging one price for the entire course for 7 weeks, the recommended method is to have one event to handle the registrations for the entire course.
