One ticket valid for a choice of any one of a series of events

Issue 1: I need to sell a ticket for an event that runs every fri, sat, sun throughout the winter. Once validated, the ticket no longer needs to remain valid for future events. They pay one fee but can choose to use the ticket whenever they feel like it.

Issue 2: I also want to sell one ticket that is valid at all three days and weeks throughout the winter. I still want them to ‘check in’ once they arrive on location.

How do I accomplish these two goals using the various plugins available?

Hi,

The way I would do this would be to create an Recurring event (Recurring Event Manager) for the different weeks, each event covering Fri – Sun.

I would then edit each event except the first and set the Alternate Registration URL to the first events URL.

This will mean that each week will show on the calendar etc, but they will only register via the first event (you may need to add a note in the description as the date change may confuse them).

You would also need to make sure that the registration end date is the last day of the last event and that in the recurring set up the events can be registered for at any point during the registration

Issue 2 seems similar to issue one and could be done as part of my idea for you, unless I have misunderstood?
