Hi

Apologies I’m new to Event Espresso, so what I need to do may be possible but I’m not sure how to acheive it!

A picture paints a thousand words, so if you view this page you should see what I’m trying to get to:
http://wordpress.eciti.co.uk/index.php/corporate-portfolio-management/

Basically, I want a single post giving the course description – then list the available venues / dates below. I found a thread on the forum describing recurring events and the unique category identifier, so I’ve created a category 2013-cpm and set it in event meta event_category_id but can’t get listing. Am I doing something wrong?

[EVENT_ESPRESSO_CATEGORY event_category_id=”2013-cpm”]

Thanks

Paul

Hi Mark,

No need to apologise.

Yes I would agree that using Recurring Events Manager (REM) is the way to go here. The plugin comes with some additional templates that can be uploaded to the wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates directory that will help list the dates – eg unstyled recurring event

You would probably need to create separate recurring events based on the venue and would obviously need to style/change the settings to make it look pretty.
