On the backend, default to the current month instead of the next month

When we create an event on the backend and go to select a start date, the calendar automatically displays the next two months instead of the current month (so if it’s April, we see May and June, and have to scroll back to choose a date in April). Is it possible to change this so it shows the current month and the next month by default?

Hi there,

Yes this is possible and involves using a bit of PHP & a WordPress filter hook to change the default start and end dates. Here’s a gist that shows some example code:

You can add the above to a functions plugin.
