Ok someone made a booking and this is the email they got? This is the most I have paid for a plug and look like I am now helping debug it.

How do I fix this so my business does not look like we dont know what we are doing?

I also got something similar and am curious about the answer. I’m setting up EE4 to take over from a previous event management plugin (Not EE3).

EE4 is still priced as a Beta so it should be expected that minor issues will be discovered. This is the first one or two times this has been reported, it has to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

In order to debug what is occurring can you provide more information?

– What email service was your client using, does that service allow HTML emails to be delivered?
– What plugins do you have installed and activated on your website?
– Can you try email service like Mandrill (http://wordpress.org/plugins/wpmandrill/) which can help with the delivery?
– Did you modify the email templates or are they still as-is with the initial install?

Hi Danny,

I was actually inquiring as to what email service your CUSTOMER is using and we want to be sure they allow HTML emails. I’m somewhat certain that the service they use is not going to be the issue, but I’d be amiss not to ask.

Can you take a screenshot of your active plugins, or can you narrow down your list to a few email plugins?

When you say:

Note all other email send find so it is just the one that seems to be different

Do you mean this only occurs with Event Espresso, or just one event with Event Espresso? Have you received successful emails through Event Espresso?

Do you administer your own server mail program, which is?

I don’t mean to be difficult but we need more information or instructions on how to reproduce this error so we can identify what needs to be fixed or how we can accommodate your website environment.

I have dyslexia and spending a my day debugging $200 software does my head in.

The system send out many emails and all of them are looking find there is just one of them that has a bad header displaying and it is pasted at the top of this message.

Also it not just one customer it everyone so far maybe you should do a booking for a free event and see what you get as a reply on the “Subject: Registration Pending Payment” email.

There seems to be to many problems with this software can I get my money back and this is my 15 email about different stuff that is not working,

How about you contact me on skype? ID newzealandnz or email me your ID

Cheers

PS it is so disheartening when you spend hours setting up a event plugin and enter events them you promote it to many and now they can not make a booking, this is my living it is not a hobby.

See this event http://www.elite6.co.nz/events/andy-lamont-fundraising-evening/ it is a Quiz Night Fund Raiser for a guy who is dying and I have no time to wait I only have 7 days to get the bookings!!

And if I “Can you take a screenshot of your active plugins” how do I attach it to this message?? I did cut and paste them then this system would not let me send my message
