Offsite Registration (via API or EE4 Model?)

Hi!

We are integrating our CRM with Event Espresso. We we are putting a new button into our CRM system called “Add to event”. We already have all the information about the event because we are using the new EE4 API to get this information. However, we need to finish the registration from the CRM, however, we don’t find any API to do that.

We would like to extend by ourselves the API… so we have tried to do the registration via EE4 Model Functions (https://github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core/blob/master/docs/G–Model-System/model-querying.md). However, even there are some examples to insert data… these examples are standalone insertions that doesn’t work as a full registration (we need to complete the whole process… including sending emails, etc.).

Does anyone have any idea about how to make an offsite registration? or what is the right sequence of EE4 Model Functions in order to accomplish a right registration? Or any idea about how to approach the problem?

Thank you!

Hi Jordy,

How are you today?

Sorry for the delay in responding. Event Espresso does not yet have write endpoints. So, I think you’ll have to use the model system.

This question is beyond what we can help you with in the support forums, so I’d recommend you contact our developers about this by opening an issue on Github: https://github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core

Thank you Garth!. Is it possible to buy a ticket in order to get the right function call sequence? I understand the model, but I don’t know the right process (sequence of calls). I would appreciate (and pay) to know that function call sequence and params (I’m trying to get it by inverse engineering the code but it is really hard).

Hi Jordy,

Ya, there is a lot going on during registrations.

I’ll let you have the technical conversation of how to do this (if its possible) with the dev team on GitHub. If you and our developers find a way we can help then we’ll discuss allocating you some some development time and fees.
