I want to add two offline Payment Methods/Gateways that only Admin should be able to use in order to register an attendee on-site at the Event.
I renamed the Bank Payment Method to be called “Swish” which is an quick electronically bank transfer via an App on Smart Phones that is being used frequently in Sweden. To my understanding, this will on the receipt that is downloadable state that it was paid using this Service (Swish).
But I will also offer another payment method, but not sure if I can rename and use ie. Cheque.
I will have a little device connected to my iPad, where I can charge their credit or debit card directly. But if I rename Cheque to “iZettle” as it is called, how will the behavior of this Payment Method be?
Will it automatically send an e-mail to the buyer on how to pay? (as it is designed for cheque)
All the registrations will be handled in Admin-end, but the buyer should of course receive their registration confirmation e-mail when I in the Admin-end have confirmed that they have paid with either of the above “new” Payment Methods.
You should be able to re-purpose the Cheque payment method for your purposes as long as you’re not using it on the front end. What you’ll likely need to set up though is a Registration Pending Payment message that includes instructions on how to pay.
I don’t think you’ll need to disable anything if you’re registering for them via the admin.
