Getting this error: This started happening yesterday? What should I be doing to fix this? THank you! |
Hi Shelly, First of all, make sure the message settings are set to generate the email in the same request. For that you need to go to EE > Messages > Settings > Global message settings > Generate and send all messages > Set that to “generating on the same request”. Make sure to remove/resend the queued messages, so that the newly generated messages will be sent without any issue. Note: You can regenerate the ‘Registration Approved’ messages, but not the ‘Payment Received’ messages. |

Thank you. I did the first bit. What about resending the failed ones? It looks like the one’s from yesterday cannot be resent…? I there any way I can get those to be resendable, then I can delete the older ones and start fresh? |
Yes, you can click on the “Arrow button” button to resend the message. |

Ahhh.. okay. The only ones that can be resent are the ones to the admin, not to the customer. ? |
The above fix wont actually ‘fix’ any issues happening with the emails, it basically just changes how EE triggers them but if there is an issue it will continue to happen. Have you tested sending a test email from one of your templates? Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Templates -> Reg Approved (edit one). Add a valid email in test email section in the sidebar and hit send. Does that one send? |

The weird thing is they are now sending.. new registration notifications are getting sent (they are “green”). Maybe this was some temporary conflict or something? So hard to know now that they seem to be working. But for all the students that didn’t get notifications of a succesful registration, what can I do since I can’t resend (at least not from the Messages dashboard)? |
View the registrations and retrigger them. If this is for a specific event go to Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over event} -> Registrations. Select the registrations using the checkboxes and then in the bulk actions at the top select ‘Approve and Notifiy Registrations’, then apply. That will set the registrations to Approved (they should already be that status by the sounds of if, if not split this up for the statuses you want to trigger) and retrigger notifications. https://monosnap.com/file/4ShfBkcHL7LIaY7mxDMrFtZjzOhc9x You may need to do that for multiple pages. |
