I do have an issue with Notifications that is very puzzling and I hope you can help me to locate the problem.
The problem I experience is that Notifications, when re-sent from the dashboard, do not always arrive, even when in the dashboard it is reported that the Notification has been sent.
This is not a systematic problem:
* for some Notifications, all are sent and arrive well
* one Notification is sent and arrives well for most Entries, but does not arrive for a specicif Entry
* another Notification is sent and arrives wel for a few Entries and not for several other Entries.
I cannot figure out where to look for the source of this problem, the settings for the Notifications do not seem to be the cause, a duplicate Notification behaves differently than the original one.
Where could I look for the source of this problem?
This is the correct channel to get help with Event Espresso 4. It sounds like some emails may be arriving to the spam or junk email folder.
Event Espresso uses the native wp_mail function which then uses the local email server to send emails. This means that it does not send emails on its own.
I recommend setting up a free transactional email service like Sendgrid to help with this issue:
