Hi,
every now and then my client is being sent notifications from past events, e.g. today a registration notification of an attendee who attended the event in March 2023. Sometimes the attendees get their notifications again as well.
Looking forward to learn how to stop this.

So this happened for a single registration on an event?
I assume that event had other registrations on it?
Or was is a registration on a single datetime with a single ticket?
Do you use any transitional email services? MailChimp? Mailgun? etc
