Notifications from Event registrations

Hi,
For some reason, I and the other instructors in my program have stopped receiving notifications when someone registers for one of our events. I checked all the settings I know to check, and nothing has changed. I’m not sure why we’re not getting notifications anymore. Any thoughts?

Has anything changed on the site? (plugin updates, settings, etc)

Hi Chris,
No, nothing has changed. I’m in the process of updating to the new version of EE right now, though.

Have you looked at this setting in the Email Settings?:

fancy email

You might try toggling that to whatever the opposite of the current setting is. Some servers don’t support it. What version are you upgrading from.

Hi Chris,
I tried toggling the fancy e-mail headers switch, and the problem persists. I’m now running the most current version of EE. As well, it’s come to my attention that students are not getting confirmation e-mails when they register for an event; and, one of our instructors tried to send an e-mail from inside EE to her students, and none of them received the e-mail. Does this make sense? I hope maybe there’s a fix for this problem.

Have the same problem too. Please fix ASAP, it’s a core feature and it is so important.
