Hi there,

when someone signs up for an event, i receive a notification from WordPress with the registration details.

They are coming in 1 delayed now. So i do not receive the previous registration until another registration comes in. and then i’m short 1 notification.

I need these to come in the same day as the registration for my records.

I’m on EE4. The notification is not in the WP Mail Log. Another registration is required in order for it to be pushed out.

How can I fix this?

Hi,

One way would be to change your messages settings to send on same request. You go to Event Espresso > Messages > Settings, and there you’ll change the setting to Send Messages on Same Request.

Another approach you could take, but this isn’t as simple, is contact your host to see if allow for setting up a real cron on the site. They may have documentation for this. For example, SiteGround hosting users can follow this guide:
https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/wordpress/real-cron-job/
