WordPress version: 4.1
Event Espresso version: 4.6.4.p
Calendar (EE 4.3+) version: 3.2.1.p
Events Table View Template (EE4.4.9+) version: 1.3.2.p

Hello,

I’m getting “Nothing in your Event Queue” message on all of my Registration Checkout pages (development site). It was working until very recently, and I can’t think of anything I did to make them not working. While I’m logged in to my WordPress account, the Registration Checkout pages will work and I can proceed to the payment pages, but once I log out, none of them will work.

I have W3 Total Cache plugin installed, and the following pages are included in “Never cache the following pages”:

/events/
/registration-checkout/
/transactions/
/thank-you/
/registration-cancelled/

One example of my registration page is: http://tomoewilfong.com/cc/events/core-curriculum-march/

My registration page is modified, and I was wondering if that has something to do with the breaking of the Registration Checkout pages…

I just requested a Support License Key reset from my old development site (DreamHost) to the site above (BlueHost) because my original development site server was having some issues. Out of curiosity, I checked both sites, and both of them are having same “Nothing in your Event Queue” issue, so I know that the problem is not specific to the hosting server.

Do you have any ideas of what might be causing this issue? This site has to go live sometime this month, so I am willing to buy a support token if needed. Thank you very much for your time.

Update:

I noticed that if I refresh the page when I see the “nothing in your Event Queue” message, I can proceed to the Registration Checkout page. So I set all caching to be disabled (W3 Total Cache), and now it is working!

What would be the cause of this? I just now re-activate the W3 Total Cache plugin, and everything is working.

Hi Tomoe,

It sounds like those pages were still cached, or at least still serving a cached page.

Looking at them now I can see your registration-checkout page is no longer serving a cached page and should continue to work as expected.

If you do run into this issue again just let us know an we can investigate further.
