Hi here. I got EE conected to payment gateway, everything works ok while test paiments are made. But in real life somebody can cancel transaction/lost connection etc. In that case payment gateway returns client to /payment/cancel/ page with shortcode [ESPRESSO_CANCELLED] but its absolutely EMPTY… Yes I can write something, like “your payment wasnt sucessful” or so. But this is not descision. I hoped that this page will show again registration sumary page and suggestion to try payment again or try different payment method. Maybe we done something wrong with payment gateway processing? Maybe after cancelation it must return some codes for [ESPRESSO_CANCELLED] page to initiate something?
Because now registration is set to datebase as incomplete, but people cant do anything with it – they dont se any surther info to retrair payment.
I think that in /cancel/ page must be same info as in this (automaticly generated page in middle of registration) page. But I cant just link to it, cause after coming here from link – its empty…
The only thing the cancelled shortcode does is clear the session data so if another purchase process is initiated, it doesn’t add that to the previous session’s information. You can put whatever information/text you want on that page.
