not registrer twice on free event

How can i prevent people from registring twice on a free event? It seems there is no check-up to already registred email or whatever. You just can register.

What is the trick here?

Mailchimp for instance prevents this.

Hi Evert,

Event Espresso doesn’t have a feature that prevents someone from registering for the same event twice.

Do you plan this, or is this mission impossible in this situation. To check the DB for already registred emailaddress on that event?

This isn’t something we have planned right now, I can certainly add it to our feature request list though.
