Hi there, What steps were followed when the site was transferred? If you manually send an email out via the admin does it work? There are a few troubleshooting steps you can try here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-event-espresso/#email |

Hi Josh, I Installed a fresh copy of WP on the new server, imported the db, and replaced the freshly installed wp-content folder with the one from our old server. If this helps, we are receiving the PayPal payment emails when they register, just not the registration info email. I tried disabling the fancy headers with no luck. I’m not sure where in the admin section you were recommending I try to send an email from.. Appreciate the help. |
Before you imported the db, were the file paths and URL’s updated from the old site to the new site by using a plugin or a script like WP DB Migrate? In the admin section when you view attendees there’s an Actions column on the right side of the screen. Within the actions column is a little envelope icon. If you click the envelope icon it sends out an email to the attendee. |

I don’t think so. I simply exported the db, installed WP on the new server, and then imported the db prior to logging into wp-admin for the first time. I created a dummy act and marked myself as paid from the attendee screen. I didn’t receive an email but that may be normal because when I clicked resend ticket, i received it immediately. Hope this helps! |

Oh, and the site structure on the old server was realmscon.com/wordpress/ but the new one is simply realmscon.com, if that may make a difference. |

Hi, If you did not change the paths in the database when backing up and transferring the database you will more than likely run into some problems, as Event Espresso and other plugins/themes will be looking for realmscon.com/wordpress/… instead of realmscon.com/… You could either re-export the old database if it is still accessible using a plugin like WP Migrate DB, or you could do a search of your current database for the old URL format and change every one to the new format. Make sure you at least have a backup before doing any changes. |
