EE3 sends out notifications to me automatically after a successful registration, but not a payment. How do I get EE3 to also send me a payment notification just as it does automatically to the payer.
My email log plugin confirms that I only receive registration notifications while those who register and make payment online receive both type of notifications.
Currently you can not set the payment emails to be sent to both the attendee and the admin, they are only sent to the attendee as you mentioned.
EE4 was designed to more flexible with messages and allows you to enable multiple message contexts which would allow you to send a payment received message to both the Event Admin and the Primary registrant at the same time.
Is there anything currently preventing you from updating to EE4?
