I would like to export all my attendee data plus answers to custom questions to excel. Currently, any of the export options I use only export summary attendee data. How do I export the custom question data?

Hi,

When you say its not exporting, are the Question columsn there but with no data or are the question columns not there at all?

Hi Dean

The question columns are not exporting at all. I responded to the email you sent me but I have not heard back. Does that email work? A solution to this problem has become really urgent. Is it possible to help me with this now? Can you email me call me as per email notes. Please reply.
Thanks
Mike

What version of Event Espresso is installed? I thought we fixed this issue recently.

Hi Seth
We have version “Event Registration and Ticketing Powered by Event Espresso – 3.1.17.P” installed. Can you tell me what I need to do. I need to export this data ASAP this afternoon.

Many thanks
Mike

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?

If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/contact/

Choose the “I am sending login info as requested” option and fill out the form

Hi Mike,

Your Event Espresso version is 10 versions out of date. I would strongly advise you to update the plugin as soon as you can.

I asked for login details to see if their was anything I could do to try and get you the details asap.

Unfortunately, not. I will refer this to a developer when they come online to look into to see if anything is possible with your version, but it may simply require an update.

Hi Mike,

If the one click upgrade isn’t available (Plugins > Installed Plugins) then you will need to manually update the plugin and add ons. You can download the latest versions via your Account page on the eventespresso.com website.

We have some basic instructions here https://eventespresso.com/wiki/updating-event-espresso/

One thing I would say is that the plugin may need to be deleted before the new one is installed, otherwise you may run into an error on installation (the docs need updating slightly).

Backup your database! Really, back it up! You can do a basic export of the database using WP DB

None of the database data should be touched, but its best to be careful.

If you have done any customisation to the templates, you will need to update the templates found in uploads/espresso with copies from the new plugin version.

Please note that if you just copy them it will over write the files so make sure you save a copy of them so that you can recreate the changes made.
