I am confused about non approved events. I have an event that is set to non approved so an admin requires approval before allowing the registrant to pay and reserve a spot. This works fine. However, when the event is approved the registrant is sent a copy of the registration details but there is nowhere in the notification that directs the registrant back to finish and pay. So how does this work? How does the registrant get notified once approved that they can now finish the process and pay without starting over?
Rather than setting the Non Approved registrations to Approved.
Set them to ‘Pending Payment’ and select to notify the users when doing so. When you do that the user will receive a registration pending payment email. That include a link for the user to pay for the registration. Once they have done that their registration will automatically be set to ‘Approved’ and the registration approved message sent (along with their tickets if using the ticketing add-on)
If you want the user to reserve a spot on the event before they pay for the event you can add a link within the registration approved message to send direct the user to pay for the registration.
